dc.description.abstractУ статті аналізуються ключові методи та технології для вищих навчальних закладів, що допомагають студентам технічних спеціальностей в опануванні іноземної мови. Виявлено, що викладання англійської мови професійного спілкування онлайн сприяє реалізації багатьох методів та креативних підходів на практичних заняттях. Охарактеризовано основні завдання для викладачів англійської мови професійного спілкування: розроблення нової структури організації занять, мотивування студентів до пізнавальної діяльності та навчання їх основам роботи в онлайн-режимі; планування самостійної роботи студентів. Згідно з дескрипторами, визначеними у Загальноєвропейських рекомендаціях з мовної освіти, зміст навчальної дисципліни «Англійська мова професійного спілкування» має базуватися на міжнародних рівнях володіння іноземною мовою, враховувати попередній досвід студентів, формуватися на академічних знаннях та професійних уміннях. Метою вивчення цієї дисципліни є здатність використовувати англійську мову у письмовій та усній формі як у побуті, так і під час виконання професійних обов’язків. Відзначено важливість науково-технічної довідкової автентичної літератури із сайтів та блогів практикуючих спеціалістів. Розвитку лексичної компетенції також сприяє використання аудіопідкастів з інженерної тематики Engineering Podcasts. Джерелом відеоматеріалів є сайти YouTube, Puzzle-English, FluentU, English-films.com, BBC, CNN World News, ABC News та інші. Наголошено на важливості інформаційного середовища, яке створює умови реального спілкування іноземною мовою шляхом обміну інформацією зі студентами інших країн. Проаналізовано проблеми викладання англійської мови професійного спілкування в системі дистанційного навчання. Визначено, що для успішної професійної освіти студентів необхідно розроблювати гнучкі програми з різноманітними формами і методами навчання згідно із сучасними освітніми стандартами. Провідна ідея статті полягає в тому, що дистанційне навчання стає одним із пріоритетних напрямів модернізації вищої школи в Україні та в усьому світі.
dc.description.abstract1The article analyzes the key methods and technologies for higher education institutions that help students of technical specialties in mastering a foreign language. It was found that teaching English for special purposes online promotes implementation of many methods and creative approaches in practical classes. The main tasks for teachers of English for special purposes are described: development of a new structure of organization of classes, motivating students to cognitive activities and teaching them the basics of online work; planning of independent work of students. According to the descriptors defined in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the content of the discipline “English for Special Purposes” should be based on international levels of foreign language proficiency, take into account previous experience of students, be formed on academic knowledge and professional skills. The purpose of studying this discipline is the ability to use English in written and oral form both in everyday life and when performing professional duties. The importance of authentic scientific and technical reference literature from sites and blogs of practitioners is noted. Development of lexical competence is also facilitated by the use of Engineering Podcasts. The sources of the videos are YouTube, Puzzle-English, FluentU, English-films.com, BBC, CNN World News, ABC News, etc. Emphasis is placed on the importance of the information environment, which creates conditions for real communication in a foreign language by exchanging information with students from other countries. The problems of teaching English for special purposes in the distance learning system are analyzed. It is determined that for successful professional education of students it is necessary to develop flexible programs with various forms and methods of teaching according to modern educational standards. The core idea of the article is that distance learning is becoming one of the priority areas for modernization of higher education in Ukraine and around the world.
